DATES: Feb. 23-25, 2024 (Fri-Sun) Check in Fri. 5 p.m. & check-out Sun. 10 a.m. No curfew – but betting 11 p.m. lights out.
LOCATION: Northport Bay Retreat. This resort is located in Northport, about 30 mins north of Traverse City on Lake Michigan.
ACTIVITIES: We will have a snowshoe outing at Leelanau State Park, wine tasting, a GIRLS NIGHT IN pizza party, (mandatory) naps, euchre, art projects & more. A slumber party, in other words. We are also getting a private tour of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse!!!
ROOMS: There are 15 available bedrooms. Each room has two queen beds and a private bathroom. 2 to 4 gals per room & you must arrange your own roomies. I do not match people up.
COMMON AREAS: There is a huge dining and kitchen area that holds up to 64. (I’m expecting about 30 women). Plus game rooms, lounges, and nooks & crannies for girl talk.
COST: Double: $575 per person; Triple: $500 per person; Quad: $425 per person
SPONSORS: First Class Closets is sponsoring a workshop! Maybe we will do a painting one where we sip and dab!
BOOK IT: Make a $200 deposit per person. Email your party plan to kandace@michigangirlevents.com to check availability before booking. I will let you know how to send the deposit. (Deposits are refundable through Dec. 1, 2023 and the balance of your room is due Jan. 1, 2024.)

Day 1: Friday
4pm: Check-in
6:30pm: Dinner provided (pizza party with wine and cookies. Can you think of a better way to ease into a weekend with your buds and a few dozen strangers? Time to break out the extra cheese.)
7pm – Opening Ceremony. This is a very fancy way of saying we will make cocktails/mocktails together and go toast the wintery night along Lake Michigan!
8-11pm – Music Bingo and other games. Don’t worry. You can tap out on this if you want to, but may I suggest you stay and watch for a bit and see what hijnx unfolds?
Day 2: Saturday
8-10am: Continental breakfast provided (or bring your own green eggs and ham). Wear some cool jammies.
10am-noon: Some kind of workshop to get us fired up. TBD! Don’t worry, nothing boring or too educational. This will be about getting excited and looking forward to things you’ve always wanted to do. Maybe some good ideas will be born. Maybe some bad. You can blame me.
Noon: Lunch provided.
1-3pm: Snowshoe Outing.
4pm: MANDATORY NAP TIME AS PROMISED.
6pm: Dinner provided. Plus dessert, wine, girl talk and/or examining blisters from the snowshoe.
7-9pm: Craft Workshop. TBD. You’ll make it and you’ll like it.
Day 3: Sunday
8-10am: Breakfast provided.
11am: Checkout time. Hope you all had a great weekend!!!!!!
Notes: Linens, bedding, bath towels, hand soap and toilet paper are provided for each room. Bring your own toiletries (shampoo and bath soap). Bring your own snowshoes or YakTrax to hike in. Bring your own snacks, drinks, food, anything you’d like outside of what is being served. (I will send a full menu closer to the event.) Bring a good attitude and a sense of humor and we will have FUN!
