DATES: May 10-12, 2024 (Fri-Sun)
Motor coach departs Traverse City at 8 a.m. on
Friday. We will head to Mackinaw City, where we will board the ferry, making a scene. We will be on the island by noon Friday. On Sunday, checkout time is 11 a.m. – and we will be back to TC in time for a calm, no-questions-asked, Mother’s Day with the fam, around 3 p.m.
MOTORCOACH: The ride is half the fun! Plan on drinks (PINKMOSAS?), games & prizes. We will set the tone for the weekend en route, in a mere 2 hours. Pickups in Traverse City and Elk Rapids.
HOTEL: We are staying at The Chippewa Hotel located in downtown Mackinac Island and home to THE PINK PONY. Rate includes two nights lodging.
ACTIVITIES: We will plan a pic under the bridge (see below!), group hike and a group bike around the island!
RATE: Rates include two nights lodging at the Chippewa Hotel, motor coach transportation, swag, porter fees and ferry ticket, along with a MiGirl group hike and bike. Additional events (such as a carriage tour) may be added closer to the trip and will be at an additional cost.

3. Main Street – 1 Queen. Double rate: per person: $619; Single rate: per person: $929

AGENDA (Tentative)
Day 1 – Friday
8 am: Traverse City pickup
8:30 am: Elk Rapids pickup, all aboard, let the shenanigans begin. Pinkmosas???
11 am: Group photo under the Mackinac Bridge!!
11:30 am: Board Shepler’s ferry to Mackinac Island, count heads, lose people, find people, give up and hope you made the boat.
12 pm: Michigan Girl invasion on Main Street. Afternoon on your own. Some souvenir buying or pink ponying.
4 pm: Hotel check-in, check out who’s in the same hallway as you, shout a little.
Sunset MiGIrl Hike – optional but includes a group toast and getting lost. Don’t miss it.
Day 2 – Saturday
MiGirl Bike Ride Around the Island. (Rent your own bikes… 8 flat miles, great views and laughs)
Day 3 – Sunday
10:30 am: Meet at Shepler’s dock
11 am: Ferry home!
1:15 pm: ER drop-off
1:45 pm: TC drop-off
